2. Follow the steps to make your our straw rocket to launch Ellen Ochoa into space.
Space Rocket
1. Gather your materials: Ellen Ochoa and rocket pictures, straw, scissors, glue, tape
2. Color the picture of the rocket and Ellen Ochoa.
3. Cut out the rocket and Ellen Ochoa.
4. Glue the picture of Ellen Ochoa on the rocket.
5. Hold the straw. Make a small ripe along the edge.
6. Slowly turn the straw and ripe the paper away from the one side.
7. Slowly pull the paper away from the one side. Leave the other side of the paper on the straw.
8. Turn the rocket onto the back. Place the paper end of the straw on top.
9. Tape the paper part of the straw to the back of the rocket.
10. The rocket is now ready to launch. Wait for your teacher's countdown to launch your rocket!
